Research Interests:
(1) Development of smart probes for specific detection of disease-related enzymes;
(2) Developing multimodal and multifunctional probes for tumor theranostics;
(3) Design and synthesis of drug candidates (including radioactive drug candidates) for treatment of tumor and other diseases.
Research Experience and Accomplishments:
To date, Prof Shi has published total 38 peer-reviewed journal articles with the majority appearing at the top journals, such as JACS, Angew. Chem., Adv Mater., Chem. Commun etc, in the field of organic, material chemistry and nanomedicine. The total number of citations is around 1500. Prof. Shi is currently the member of editorial boards for Proteomics and Proteomics Clinical Applications.
