Research Interests:
In recent years, Dr. Yang focus on tumor theranostics, and develop various inorganic and organic nanomaterials for cancer radiotherapy and combined therapy.
The main research directions are as follows:
- Novel functional nanomaterials for tumor multimodal imaging and therapy.
- Nanomaterial-based tumor hypoxia microenvironments regulation and enhanced radiotherapy.
- Nano-biomaterials for tumor combined radiotherapy and immunotherapy.
Research Experience and Accomplishments:
Prof. Yang has been working in the area of nanomedicine and radiological medicine in recent years. Starting from 2014, his research group has also explored the applications of nanomaterials for radiotherapy and combined therapy of cancer. Dr. Yang has authored a total of 110 peer-reviewed SCI papers, which have been cited by others for 11000 times (H-index=52). He was listed as one of the ‘Highly Cited Researchers (Materials) by Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters) in 2018 and 2019.
