报告人简介：

Dr. Simon K. Cheng earned his B.S. degree (1997) in Biology from Cornell University, New York. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. degree (2005) from New York University School of Medicine. He then started Radiation Oncology Residency Program and ABR Holman Research Pathway Resident at the New York University School of Medicine.In 2012, He was assigned as an assistant professor attheDepartment of Radiation Oncology, Columbia University Medical Center.He received the ARRO Educator of the Year Award in 2016 and ASCO Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award in 2010.He is very active in the community of Radiation Oncology asa member of many societies, such as Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, American Society of Radiation Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Radiation Research Society. International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, American Association for Cancer Research, and so on. His research interests focus on the enhancement of radiation on the immunotherapy for metastatic cancer.
